MONTANA SUPERHOST WORKSHOP "Passport to Service"
Polson Chamber of Commerce invites all area businesses and organizations to attend the Montana Superhost customer service workshop "Passport to Service" at the KwaTaqNuk Resort, 49708 US Hwy 93 in Polson on Tuesday, June 1 from 9:00am to 12Noon. This session is free of charge to all participants. Please pre-register for this session by contacting La Nita Barahona at 406-253-3130 or email barahonafamily@yahoo.com. Participants will explore ways to connect with customers, learn the characteristics of an effective travel counselor, identify resources available in their community and region, build skills for tactful and effective communication with challenging customers and co-workers, understand the economic impact of tourism in Montana, and commit to personal steps to make a difference.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL@ The Mission Mountain Winery
Mission Mountain Winery encourages all Summer gourmets to attend our free event on Saturday June 19th from 10am to 5pm: "Ice Cream Social at the Winery." This is a part of the Winery's continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by the pairing of food and wine. The staff and winemaker have collaborated in producing several sorbet and ice cream treats: Huckleberry Sorbet, Peach & Late Harvest Wine Ice Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream with Cocoa Vin Chocolate Port. RELAY FOR LIFE
Lake County Relay for Life will be held June 19th and 20th at the Polson High School Sports Complex. It is an all night event to celebrate those who have won the battle against cancer, remember those who have lost their battle and to fight back against the disease so that people cannot be hurt by cancer in the future. There are activities through the night, plenty of food, lots of laughs and many tears. It is truly an amazing experience that everyone is invited to participate in and help us toward one common goal...to find a cure for cancer! All Survivors and their caregivers are invited to the Survivor Reception at 4:30 PM to celebrate life the best way we know how. Opening Ceremony begins at 6 PM with the Luminaria Ceremony at dusk and the Closing Ceremony at 7 AM.

Polson Mission Mountain PRCA Rodeo at the Polson Fairgrounds- Starts at 7pm on both days with Mutton Bustin/Miniature Bull Riding with the Rodeo starting at 8pm. This event is a two night action packed Pro Rodeo in a beautiful setting at the Polson Fairgrounds arena. The Fairgrounds are located across the bridge on Hwy 93 North and bordered by the Flathead River with spectacular views of the Mission Mountains and Flathead Lake.
