  • Ongoing, July and August , Port Polson Players Presents
    The Port Polson Players present 9-10 productions each year; children's, youth theatre, community theatre and professional summer stock. These cultural events have a tremendous artistic, educational and economic impact on our area. Individual dates vary (we'll keep you posted) and summer stock always run July and August.

    Ricciardi's and The Point Spread Sports Bar feature weekly live music in the evenings, Thursday through Saturday.   • August 2, 2008 , Polson Bay's Water Daze
    Polson Bay's Water Daze is a 1 mile swim across Polson Bay and includes a water festival at Beottcher Park. In addition to the swim there will be kayaking, a children's fun swim, children's water activities, and a barbeque. Please come support the efforts of Mission Valley Aquatics andenjoy the festivites on Flathead Lake.

  • August 2, 2008 , Seventh Avenue Skate Jam
    Polson's 12th Annual Skate Jam celebrates the 2nd anniversary of the new skate park on 7th avenue west! Action begins around 10am and lasts until dusk. Music and concrete! Helmet and pads are recommended. Bring your own H20! BBQ planned. BMX's are welcome. Best tricks, games of skate, freestyle battles! Lots of prizes have been donated by many local businesses and national companies, so come have a good time, enjoy the fresh air, skate hard then take a break and jump in the lake! Everyone is welcome to join in! Food & beverage vendors needed!

  • August 9, 2008 11AM-3PM , From Horses to Cars
    On Saturday, August 9th, the Polson Flathead Historical Museum’s program will be “From Horses to Cars.” See vintage vehicles including cars, buggies, wagons, and the Allard stagecoach. Pet a horse as its owner talks about how horses have played a role in history. Learn how the model railroad was built. Get on the fire engines as you hear fire-fighting stories.

  • August 10, 2008 , Tuff Truck Mud Bog Races
    Tuff Trucks compete in Mud Bog Races at the Polson Fairgrounds. Events begin at Noon. Admission is $8 for adults, children under 12 free. Food and drink concessions will be available. No coolers allowed. Bring your chairs!

  • August 13, 2008 , Trade Roots: Expansion Through Trade to New Markets
    Trade Roots is a program of the US Chamber of Commerce. Trade Roots is the only sustained, national trade education program dedicated to raising grassroots support and public awareness about the importance of International trade to local communities. Through strong partnerships with associations, local chambers of commerce, economic development groups, and the business community.   • August 16, 2008 , Drive for DOVES Golf Benefit
    Silver Fox Golf Course is hosting DOVES' 4th annual golf scramble, the proceeds of which benefit Lake County survivors of domestic and dating violence. Please join us for a day of fun and community involvement. $150.00 Entry Fee per 4-person team. Does not include club or cart rental. Hole Sponsors: $130/team.   • August 16, 2008 , Soroptomist International Wine Festival
    The 24th Annual Soroptimist Wine Festival is scheduled for 7-10 PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Polson City Airport following the Fly-In. Soroptimists will be serving over 30 imported and domestic wines, with assorted hors d’oeuvres. Live entertainment by the Toby Stone Duo throughout the evening with an intermission for a live and a silent auction. Tickets are available from The Terrace Flowers, The Crows Nest Art Gallery or by calling 883-2668 or 800-845-4251 to reserve. Proceeds from the Wine Festival benefit Soroptimist scholarships for high school girls preparing for college or vocational technical schools, women returning to college to complete an undergraduate degree or a masters degree, as well as many local charities.
