COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP
The Polson Clean Up/Green Up Event will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 5 to 7, 2017.  Headquarters are at North Lake County Library located at 2 First Avenue North in Polson (First Street entrance-Atrium room-just down from City Hall) and are open 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM to obtain trash bags, gloves and assignment for clean-up and refreshments. MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
The American Legion is sponsoring the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 12:00 PM in Polson. The parade is for Veterans only and is open to all Veterans. The parade will form at the Polson Elks Club and proceed North to 3rd Avenue West to the First Citizen's Bank Parking Lot where a short Ceremony will be presented and then participates will car pool to the local Cemetery for another Ceremony. The Ronan Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will form behind St. Luke Hospital. MONTANA SENIOR OLYMPIC GAMES

The 32nd Annual Montana Senior Olympic Games will be held in the Pablo, Polson, Ronan areas on June 15-17, 2017.  This involves competition in 14 different sports for men and women who are 50 years of age and older.  The sports include Archery, Bowling, Badminton, Cycling, Basketball, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Racewalk, Tennis, Table Tennis, Road Race, Swimming and Track & Field. 3RD ANNUAL POKER PADDLE
The 3rd annual Poker Paddle will be held on Sunday, July 9th in the Narrows on beautiful Flathead Lake starting at King's Point with island stops to collect a playing card at each location. Prizes will be awarded for best and worst hands.  There will be a silent auction, a catered picnic dinner and live entertainment by favorite local band, Highway 93.  Proceeds benefit Flathead Lakers education programs and community work to prevent the spread of invasive mussels, promote clean water practices and inspire future watershed citizens. FLATHEAD LAKE ABER DAY
The Flathead Lake Aber Day Reunion Concert brought to you by Anderson Broadcasting, will be held on the banks of the Flathead River framed by Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains at the Regatta Shoreline Amphitheater.  The concert will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM with artists, Mission Mountain Wood Band, Sam Riddle & His Band and Andrea Harsell and Luna Roja.  A variety of vendors will be on hand and parking is free.  Buses will pick up concert-goers at locations to be announced. The Flathead River Indian Rodeo will be held at the Polson Fair Grounds on Friday and Saturday, August 25 and 26, 2017 starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and senior citizens, children 6 and under are free and can be purchased at the gate. METHODIST FALL BAZAAR
The First United Methodist Church located at 301 16th Avenue East in Polson, will have their annual Fall Bazaar on Friday, November 3, 2017.  The menu consists of soup and sandwiches topped off with an apple dumpling and ice cream and will be served from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.  Art, homemade crafts and baked goods will be sold from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.  Proceeds will be used for local and church-wide Mission outreach.
