3RD ANNUAL POKER PADDLE
Early bird registration is open for the 3rd Annual Flathead Lakers Poker Paddle which will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017.  Early bird registration is avaliable now on the Flathead Lakers website: www.flatheadlakers.org until May 31, 2017. Registration closes June 30, 2017.  Last years event sold out so register early. Limited to the first 150 paddle craft, participants start from Kings Point and choose a Short (1.6 mile), or Extended distance (5+ miles) course stopping at island stops and collecting a playing card at each location.  Proceeds benefit Flathead Lakers education programs and community work to prevent the spread of invasive mussels, promote clean water practices and inspire future watershed citizens. METHODIST LUAU
The annual HAWAIIAN LUAU Dinner will be at the First United Methodist Church located at 301 16th Avenue East in Polson on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Doors open at 5:30 and dinner is served from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Cost for a single ticket is $15.00, couples $25.00 and children ten and under $6.00.  There will be entertainment and a homemade pie auction following dinner. MONTANA SENIOR OLYMPIC GAMES

The 32nd Annual Montana Senior Olympic Games will be held in the Pablo, Polson, Ronan areas on June 15-17, 2017.  This involves competition in 14 different sports for men and women who are 50 years of age and older.  The sports include Archery, Bowling, Badminton, Cycling, Basketball, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Racewalk, Tennis, Table Tennis, Road Race, Swimming and Track & Field. METHODIST FALL BAZAAR
The First United Methodist Church located at 301 16th Avenue East in Polson, will have their annual Fall Bazaar on Friday, November 3, 2017.  The menu consists of soup and sandwiches topped off with an apple dumpling and ice cream and will be served from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.  Art, homemade crafts and baked goods will be sold from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.  Proceeds will be used for local and church-wide Mission outreach.
